James C. Hash, Jr. is a motivational speaker, Divinity School graduate, and a mindfulness teacher trained and certified by the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior’s Mindfulness Awareness Research Center. He’s based in Winston-Salem, NC. His collaboration with diverse communities, his longtime practice of yoga, meditation, travel, and conversations on holistic living, inspires others to live a life that encourages them to reach their fullest potential. As a certified UCLA Facilitator in Mindfulness, James desires to help others come to a greater understanding and awareness that the daily practice of meditation will open doors to become centered and true to themselves.
His journey from his own personal fears and struggles to a greater understanding of his true self has shifted his life from uncertainty to possibility and hope. Through the practice of meditation and mindfulness he is still learning the joy of living a contemplative life. This profound change has impacted his well-being so much that he desires to inspire others to go within and begin the process of healing that will lead to a more productive life for themselves, others, and the world.
"In your meditation you will embrace the better you so that you can confront the other you."
